Lego express therapy - a variety of Lego therapy

Lego express therapy is used as a technique alongside other therapeutic activities. In a similar way to the Sandplay, a special selection of “story-telling” and symbolic Lego pieces and figures are available for the young people to choose from as they “ build” a picture.

In this technique the counsellor will offer a choice of therapeutic themes for the young person to build. Examples of these themes might be “ a safe place” or “ a happy day” Once the picture is completed, we discuss the story that underlines the building, and give it a title, which can be quite important.
